Where cheap plans get expensive
Mistakes show up
after the first cut.

A missing dimension or unclear sequence does not cost pixels. It costs lumber, hardware and another Saturday.

01

Missing measurements cost material.

The cut list and drawings come from the same design, so you are not reconciling conflicting numbers on the fly.

02

Unclear sequence costs weekends.

The 35 step build sequence keeps the work moving in a deliberate order instead of making you improvise the next move.

03

Weak safety details cost peace of mind.

Ventilation, predator resistance, nesting and cleanout access are designed into the coop from the start.

Why the pages agree with each other

One design. Every drawing, cut and connection follows it.

The coop exists as canonical 3D data. The cut list, BOM, cutting diagrams, drawings and instructions are derived from that same source, then checked before release.

CANONICAL DESIGN → PARTS → CONNECTIONS → DRAWINGS → CUT DATA → BUILD STEPS

0Solid interferencesNo unresolved physical part collisions in the frozen release audit.
0Connection gapsExcluding intentional hinge standoffs.
0Cut-list mismatchesCut data reconciles back to the same canonical parts.

Cute outside. Serious where it matters.

The details your hens live with every day.

Ventilation, predator resistance, nesting and cleanout access are part of the structure itself.

AIR
1.0 ft²

Ventilation per bird

Airflow is designed into the coop rather than added as a decorative afterthought.

MESH
½ in

19 gauge hardware cloth

Used at 3 inch attachment spacing for the protected enclosure.

APR
12 in

Predator apron

Integrated around the protected perimeter to help resist digging predators.

NEST
External

Egg access

An integrated nest bank lets you collect eggs from outside the coop.

CLEAN
Removable

Roosts + droppings board

Routine cleaning is part of the design, not something you figure out after the build.

RUN
Attached

Protected run

The coop and run are designed as one product, not two unrelated sketches.

Up to 6 standard hens.

That's a fixed capacity specification, not a sales filter. If you have 12 hens, the design can be repeated as two coops , but each coop still houses up to 6 standard hens.

FAQ

Questions before you buy.

The important stuff, without hiding it in fine print.

What exactly do I receive?

One downloadable PlanMyCoop PDF covering the 4×8 coop with attached run: build drawings, complete cut list and BOM, cutting diagrams, step drawings and the 35-step instruction sequence.

Is this a physical coop kit?

No. This is a digital building plan. Lumber, roofing, fasteners, mesh, tools and other materials are purchased separately.

How many chickens is the design for?

Up to 6 standard hens per coop. That is a design specification, not a checkout qualifier.

What happens after I pay?

Your order is prepared automatically, your copy is stamped with your email and order number, and a private expiring download link is sent to your checkout email.

Can I print the PDF?

Yes. It is a normal downloadable PDF. There is no password, DRM or view only portal.

What if fulfillment fails?

The delivery system is designed to authorize the payment first, prepare the stamped file, and capture the $39 only after the file exists. If preparation fails before capture, the authorization is canceled instead of leaving you charged without a file.

Your first cut starts with a clear plan.
